Tandem Cycling
Track and Road Cycling is conducted utilizing a Tandem Cycle which is a bike with two seats.  The combination of the pilot who is sighted and the stoker who is blind or vision impaired work together to propel the tandem cycle. 
 
 
Cricket
Cricket is a team sport played  using a ball with metal pieces inside to create a rattling noise which allows players to locate and react to its movement. Bowling occurs by an underarm motion with at least two bounces occurring before reaching the batsman .
 
 
Athletics
B1 and B2 athletes are able to have a sighted guide runner alongside them to guide them around the track.  Extra assistance in the field events when jumping or throwing is also allowed
 
Lawn Bowls
Each player has a sighted director, who describes the shot, lines them up and advises the results.  This applies for B1, B2 and B3 competitors
  
 
Golf
A caddy assists the golfer with verbal descriptions of the shot, the distance, the layout or any hazards and assists with the line up for the putt. Golfers who are blind or vision impaired are allowed to ground their club in a hazard.
 
 
Tenpin Bowling
Blind tenpin bowlers can use specially designed apparatus to assist with direction. However bowlers who are vision impaired compete without any modifications to the game
  
 
Judo 
Competitors compete under able-bodied rules.  Minor adjustments are made to suit the needs of athletes who are blind or vision impaired.
 
 
Indoor Bowls
B1 and B2 players are able to have a sighted helper on request, to describe the shot, line them up and advise the result.
 
  
 
Goal Ball
Played on a volleyball sized court, each team has three players who must stay in their half of the court and defend the backlines.  Players listen to the sound of the bell in the ball to locate it and stop it with their bodies by sliding along the court. The ball must be thrown underarm and along the ground only. Tactile markers and verbal communication are used for orientation.
 
 
Swimming
B1 and B2 athletes are able to have a tapper to indicate when the swimmer is approaching the end of the lap.
 
 
 
 
Power Lifting 
B1 and B2 are able to request a sighted guide to assist with the setting up for a lift.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Sailing
Teams consist of four sailors. Two sailors who are blind or vision impaired,  one who steers the boat without any assistance and the other serves as crew for trimming sails. The two crew members who are sighted act as their guides. 
 
Other than the sighted person assisting the crew member with trimming sails no physical touch of any controls is allowed, all communication is verbal.
