John Cornaggia - President
 
John has been on the Blind Sporting Council Board for over 8  years, previously holding the position of Vice President. John is totally Blind. He has regularly won national titles for tenpin bowling and has invented specialised equipment for the sport.  He also has an impressive administrative  record having held the executive positions of President, Vice President, Fundraising Co-ordinator and Treasurer for  the New Concept Tenpin Bowling League. 
 
Also holding  positions of Public Relations officier and National Delagate for the SA Disabled TenpinBowling Tournament Committee, for almost 20 years. John has been involved in the SA Blind Lawn Bowls for 9 years during that time representing Australia at the Trans Tasman Lawn Bowls competition.


Pam Brooks - Treasurer

Pam is an Accountant with S.G. Kerley and Associates and is a highly regarded member of the Blind Sporting Council.  She also has an extensive sporting history, enjoying basketball, scuba diving, hiking and cycling.  Some of her hikes have included the Inca trail, Base Camp, Kokoda Track and Kilimajaro.  In July 2007 she travelled to France and rode a few of the Alpine sections of the tour stages. Pam is currently coaching a local Junior Basketball Team.


Steve Holmes - Board Member
 
Steve is married and has two young children and interested in waterskiing, tennis, gardening and taking the family away on camping trips.
 
Steve, owns and operates a marketing consultancy business called SHMarketing Consulting, helping financial planners with fee-for-service and with the ongoing commitment of marketing the value of quality financial advice.
 
Steve has had 24 years experience in the financial services industry with AMP, 12 of these years as a marketing specialist supporting in excess of 200 planners, with circa $12bn in assets under management across a significant and varied geography.
 
Above all, Steve's marketing business, SHMarketing Consulting, is built upon the foundations of creating partnerships with people. 


 

Des Warner - Board Member 

Des is President of the Assocation of SA Blind Indoor Bowlers Club, is also involved with the Blind Welfare Association's Indoor Bias Bowls Club and was on their Board of Management for 5 years.  He  volunteers his time helping Prospect Council with their Senior Citizens Bias Bowls.
 
Des participates in a  Tenpin Bowling league every week, at Ingle Farm and represents South Australia in Blind and Vision Impaired Tenpin Bowling, travelling interstate to compete in National events.
 
He has also recently become a member of the SA Blind Lawn Bowlers Club.


Bradley Jansen - Board Member
 
Bradley is self employed.  His business Qattro (in partnership with Mark Gardiner) is one of Adelaide's leading residential property developers and home builders.  Qattro build approximately 250 homes per year as medium density in fill throughout the Adelaide residential belt.
 
In his spare time Bradley enjoys time with his wife Natalie, their dogs Piper, Molly, Cooper & Maecie.  In addition Brad plays lawn bowls for the Lockleys Bowling Club in division Premier 1, whilst also being a member of the South Australian high performance development squad.
 
 
Dhirendra Soral - Board Member
 
Dee has extensive international business development experience and specialises in developing strategic alliances. Good at numbers, he has been good with the racket as well. In India he was Captain of a university tennis team and played nationals two times.
 
 
Ryan Mansell - Board Member
 
Ryan joined the Blind Sporting Council Board in November 2010. Ryan has been employed with Auspine (now Pine Design) for a period of 12 years in which time he has worked his way through the company to his current position of Sales & Distribution Manager. Ryan's key responsibilities include servicing some of Adelaide largest and leading builders while also developing Pine Design's product range and customer base. Ryan is keen to use his business management and marketing expertise to progress the aims and objectives of the Blind Sporting Council. In his spare time Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters.

Founder of Refined Real Estate.

Special Advisory Members
 
Warren McKennariey
 
Warren Joined the Board in 2007. Warren is married, with a daughter.  He is a former Track and Field International  and National Athlete, and was a finalist in the Seoul Paralympics in 1988 in the Long Jump.  In 2001 Warren began tandem cycling and just missed out on going to the Athens Paralympics in 2004. He has a personal best time of 11.3 for 100 metres.  Is currently a State Coach for Blind Athletics and has a First Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.
 
Warren's work committment necessitated his resignation from the board in January 2011. He is still committed and dedicated in supporting the Blind Sporting Council in his new role as a special advisory member.

 

Tony Stacey 

 

Tony is a Management Consultant who has always dedicated some of his time to work with a variety of charities helping people in need of support. He held the role of CEO with the Blind Sporting Council from June 2010 to November 2011.

 

Tony is a fellow Professional National Accountant, and Member of the Fundraising Institute Australia.

 

Tony's ambition is to continue working with the board and staff of the Blind Sporting Council to achieve the objectives helping blind and vision impaired people participate in recreation and sport.

Moira Delvins - Administration Officer 
 
Moria Delvins joined the Council as the Administration Officer in January 2001.  She has worked as a legal secretary in   South Australia and New South Wales.  Following the arrival of her two children, Moira has concentrated her efforts as a voluntary worker for Riding for the disabled and the Cancer Foundation of South Australia.
 
 
Annie Hall - Fundraising Coordinator
 
Annie Hall joined the Council in July 2005. She has worked as a project officer and works as a duty manager at a Tenpin bowling centre.  She has been involved with Tenpin Bowling for bowlers with a Disability for over 15 years now.
